Crazy and Loving It
We have been married for over 50 years and have 2 grown sons and 3 beautiful grand children
and 3 great grand children
I grew up in Tampa Florida and Dot grew up here in Waterford New York. So why did we
stay in the cold and over taxed state? I am still trying to figure that one out.
Wow this is real out of date, most of these shows are gone now.
The Neighborhood, Ghosts
We (Dot) likes Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and sometimes Chicago PD
On Alexa I tend to watch Inspector Lewis.
And we also watch some of those
British Comedies that we runacross - they are very
good/excellent/funny shows. Right now we always watch Doc Martin and As Time Goes By , and Death In Paradise.
A new show I kind of like but my wife doesn't like it - Elsbeth. I find the show quirky and fun.
Music We Like
The little wife likes basically Elvis, Neil Diamond and the Everly Brothers. Also lately she like non stop music from Mama Mia.
As for me(Dan Sr)
- I like pretty much every thing except Rap and Opera. I like Oldies, Country both old and new but mostly the old clasic country, Jazz - right now I have been listening a lot to Theloneous Monk and John Coltrane, Blues like Bobby Bland and Lightning Hopkins. Pretty much everything depending on my mood; some times when a song catches my fancy I replay it over and over a few times. I almost forgot I love Ramsey Lewis Trio - I have a great album called "Barefoot Sunday Blues".
This past week I ran across on YouTube some music by Jeff Bridges and I really like the songs a lot and usually play his songs at least once a day.
Several great female singers I love are "Vera Lynn" and "Vicki Carr".
